Patient Feedback Survey 2022
Thank you to our patients who completed feedback forms in October of this year.
Questionnaires were provided by an independent survey company, who analyse the anonymous results and provide us with an independent overview of our practice.
Pleasingly, results show that 97% of all patient ratings for Ranford Medical Centre were either good, very good or excellant.
An important part of the survey is to identify areas that we can improve.
Seeing your Doctor of choice.
If there is a Doctor that you prefer to see, there are things we can do to help.
- Remember to ask when making your appointment, for your regular Dr’s next available day and time.
- For routine appointments, please book well in advance so we can accommodate your request.
- If you require a follow up appointment after your consult, please book this at reception before you leave to ensure your preferred practitioner is available.
- If the Doctor you would like to see is fully booked, ask reception to be placed on their cancellation list. Appointments often become available throughout the day, and our reception staff will contact you if there is a suitable time.
Waiting times.
We understand that it can be frustrating to wait for your appointment to see a doctor. We aim to keep waiting times to a minimum, and where possible will contact you to let you know if your doctor is running late. Occasionally your doctor may be held up with an unexpected emergency, and we will let you know on arrival and offer you an alternative available Doctor where possible.
If you have multiple problems to discuss with your Doctor, please book a long consult to ensure enough time is allocated to your appointment.
Out of hours/Home Visits.
We use a deputising service for patients who need access to a doctor out of hours, or a home visit if required. If our surgery is closed, patients are welcome to contact WADMS (West Australian Deputising Service) on 9321 9133. If our surgery is open but you would like to request a home visit, patients will need to contact us to be triaged by our nurse and we can then request a visit for you. They are a mixed billing service and more information can be found on their website www.wadms.org.au
If you have a medical emergency and our surgery is closed, please call 000
Our aim is to provide high quality General Practice health care to our patients, in a comfortable and respectful space. We welcome feedback and communication on ways in which we can continue to support our patients, and encourage feedback which can be made either in person to our Practice Manager or via email to rec3@ranmed.com.au
